THE GIVEBACK GIRL

Supporting Families in Crisis Through Relief, Partnerships, and Storytelling

The Giveback Girl is a registered nonprofit organization delivering essential supplies, healthcare support, and community-driven initiatives across The Bahamas and beyond.

NEWS from THE GIVEBACK GIRL

The Giveback Girl was born from love, loss, and legacy.

My late aunt, Eithne, lived a simple but powerful life. She worked hard, loved deeply, and consistently showed up for those in need. She led our family’s annual Christmas giveback tradition until her sudden passing from Sickle Cell in 2016.

That year, we chose to honor her life by documenting the tradition on camera. What began as a tribute became the inaugural episode, My Christmas Wish, launching a storytelling series and the foundation of The Giveback Girl.

What Started It All

Since then, The Giveback Girl has grown into an annual initiative serving:

  • Special needs students

  • Cancer caregivers

  • Children in hurricane-impacted communities

  • Essential workers

  • Individuals living with sickle cell disease

  • Teenage mothers and families in crisis

What We Do Today

We now operate as a registered nonprofit (Bahamas, 2021; expanding into Pittsburgh, PA), focused on:

  • Community relief & supply distribution

  • Healthcare support initiatives

  • Educational empowerment programs

  • Media storytelling for awareness and impact
